Saving Custom confs and login passwords

I have been having difficulty saving my website logins, for example this site, when I click the box to save the user name and password for this forum it won't remember it. After I close and log back in I have to reenter both my user name and password.....Its the same for the msn web page. When I change the page to my preferences they dont stick. Any Suggestions?

You have to allow cookies to be saved. Are you blocking any cookies? what browser? Or if you use something like CCleaner to clear your temp files/ cookies, you'll have to re enter it. Firefox allows for you to save passwords and usernames when you enter it for certain sites like this one. A bar drops down from the top of the browser asking if you want to save the password.

Also, you have to make sure you're not using a program like CCleaner / WinPatrol that is managing your cookies and cleaning them out on any sort of regular basis....
