How Do I Change The Colour of The Toolbars?

I searched endlessly for this topic and didn't find a solution that worked.

One of the many problems I've been having since I bought Windows 7 is that I am not able to change from that hideous light blue colour on every toolbar. Does anyone know how to change the colour on that thing without losing the new glassly themes? I really hate the look of the light blue scheme with Windows 7, so I'm hoping someone out there knows how to fix it!

Right click on the desktop, go to personalize.

Window Color and Appearance - Change

    Choose window colour.

I'm afriad that doesn't work, keep in mind that I'm trying to change the colour of the toolbar ... the bars that say 'File' 'Edit' 'View', etc.

    But thanks for the suggestion!

I don't believe that is possible.

It seems as though all of the themes use the light blue colour for the toolbars, does anyone know of any way around this, or even if there is a theme that doesn't use the light blue colour?

That bar is not changed by themes, it is always that colour.

I just switched back to Windows from Linux because I got fed up with the lack of games on Linux, (Although Ubuntu is a great OS) but I am missing the fact that Linux is EXTREMELY customizable and changing the colour on the toolbars was something you could easily do. I wonder why Windows decided to tie the hands of their customers in this way.

It seems as though Microsoft will give you some new features in Windows 7, yet hold back on some other obvious features. Perhaps this is one of the things that will help them sell Windows 8 ..

Does anyone know if this feature is at least available in Windows 7 Ultimate?
