Lock Gadgets to Desktop?

    Lock Gadgets to Desktop?


    I can not find a way to lock the gadgets to the desktop... It would also be nice if I could prevent them from showing options (close, config, etc). I ask because each time I visit my parents, the gadgets have been moved around or some of them are missing...

    Any suggestions?

    make a different user for visiting family members - then they won't screw with *your* set up.

    I didn't mean to imply that it's my computer. I'm talking about their own computer. I setup gadgets that they like, but, while I'm away, they tend to accidently move or delete them. They don't mean to...

Desktop Gadgets

My desktop gadgets were working fine until now I cant even change the settings i.e. when I click on the link to change desktop gadgets absolutely nothing happens. However, I can close already installed gadgets, but of course cant get them back now. Any one else had a similar problem?
I'm having a problem. I can't add gadgets to the desktop. I right-click in the desktop and then Gadgets and doesn't open. I tried in control panel and doesn't open either. I rebooted and nothing. What can I do? :confused:
