I think it's way too big .. File size is 572KB.
You could try to install the sig with this link ..
Pictures by born2golf - Photobucket

I've cut the number of frames down to 11 .. which reduces the file size to 311KB ...
Attachment 72168
It's still too big to upload directly
When I set it up I set it up for 600x160 pixels not KB's.
But then going back to setup it didn't differentiate between pixs and kb's!

Did you see Sergio's post how to center & insert your link to your sig from a hosting site like PhotoBucket ?

Tell me how to cut it down otherwise I won't learn how to play the game.
I'm not familiar with Jasc Animation Shop,
But the file size is determined by the picture size in Pixels .. and the number of animation frames.

If you double the picture size in pixels (HxW) ..
The number of pixels needed to make the picture takes 4 times as many...
and the file size is 4 times as large.
Then the number of frames in the animation takes that many more.

Can you reduce the height of the sig to about 100 pixels .. and use only about 10 frames for the animation ..
this should cut the file size from about 600kb to about 200KB.

This got a little distorted when I resized the height to 100 pixels

Here's one that will probably fit and animate.

I've reduced the pixel size to 375x100 .. (Keeping it in proportional scale) ..
and reduced the Frame count to 10.

Tried to turn off the searchlite in the starting frame ...
(I think the makes the effect better since there's less frames)

Not sure if you can do this in JASC .. But I also cut the Gif color count to 128 .. (in Half)
This cuts the file size to 140KB ... I think the limit for an upload is 146KB Max

NOYB,
That info you gave me works like a charm. Can't thank you enough. Now that I have the formula look out as I am about to get dangerous.

Just FYI, to close your center tag, use .

Looking mighty good. Follow Jonathan's advice and use at the end.

Thanks for the tip but I just went in and deleted the on both ends and that seemed to work to.
Have a GR8T DAY to all of you!

As far as the picture file size ..
Think in terms of how many more tiles it will require to tile a floor visibly twice as big .. (square footage)
The answer is 4 times as many .. (the square of the size ratio)

In terms of a picture ...
The file size will also be 4 times as large for a picture twice as big.

So, The first thing to worry about is the picture size .. (This hurts twice as bad )
Then, keep the frame count down.
