I think that's an awesome idea... I'm not that great with animations though, maybe somebody else could do that? Attached is the PSD for the sig I made, and (if needed) the font I used is here: Back to the Future 2002 Font | dafont.com
    Something like this ?

Just my two cents worth: But simply resizing the finished image like that distorts the image, I think it's better to keep the same sig size... Otherwise, extend the background in the original PSD file and leave the text the same shape and size.

As for the avatar, I think what Archie was looking for was something like this:

So, is the resized siggie distorted. My eyes are bad. If yes, I can re-work again.

And gud job on the avatar.

Think now the siggie is not distorted..I have resized the bg and then minimized the letterings..

Sort of, I tried my hand at animating it (see below), I don't normally, but I thought to myself; "I made the sig, I must finish it". Lol...

I don't generally enjoy doing animations, especially not in PS, but anywho... Hope the GIF isn't too big (KB), it's tricky to get a good balance between size and quality with any GIF, especially so when it's animated:

       Note
I removed the attachment, I made a stupid mistake with the animation... See my post further below for the proper one.

Thanks.. I was just trying to get the original animation. However, I did make a mistake... Lol.

@DocBrown: Here it is with the correct animation as per the Back To The Future movies. Should it be a bit faster maybe?
