Thanks Dennis. That is really good. I said I wanted to lighten up my image and the new avatar is a lot less belligerent looking. A friendly owl rather than a predator

I very much appreciate this. You GFX types obviously take a great deal of time and pride in your work and it shows.

    Many thanks, John:)

Thanks John for the kind words.
However, I am not a GFX, and not even close to their work yet!

Your sig and avatar looks very distinguishing on you.

I don't. I try making something and see what comments I get. If I don't get any comments, I just try something else. I don't have pride in my work, I don't want to be the child that is "better than everyone else of my age".

    LilDomii,
    Couldn't agree with you more.
I only try to do me best and sometimes my best is not good enough.

Guys ...... please please don't put yourselves down like that ... it really upsets me sometimes.

You are all cracking artists in your own rights. Some shine quicker than others but given time everyone improves and becomes stand out artists in their own special way. Nobody is better than this one or can do more than that one. It just takes allot of practise and eventually with experience you'll be churning out artwork you never thought possible.
With the help and guidance from other budding artists plus the squillion tutorials and so on out there .... well the sky's the limits. But you have to learn to walk before you can run .... so put your mouse to the canvas and keep up the great work.

    Nick,
I am not down on myself. I know if I did me best today then maybe tomorrow I can or will try to do better.
You are right about learning to walk before you run and the more practice you do the easier it is to walk.
So now I am putting my mouse to the canvas.
    Thanks for the advise M8

That's the spirit pal .... a positive attitude is what we like to see. Remember art is fun... and believe me if your happy, your happiness will flow out through your artwork ... that way everyone's a winner
