Folder Options

I must be missing something.

When I open windows explorer, it looks like this(right pane): capture 1

I open Folder Options, and slect make all folders look like this, cick OK, and the next one that asks again: Capture 2

then I open a differnt file, and it looks like this!!! Capture 3 - notice the 'track #, contibuting artist' Capture 3.

Folders with pictures open with thumbnails!

I want them all to open and display: type, date modifies and size... and thats all!

What am I missing here?

Hello Michael,

You can use the tutorial below to set how you want all folder views to be in all windows.

Hope this helps,

Thank you for the information.

However, I do not have the option to 'customize this folder'.

That's ok. Find another folder that does (Ex: C:\Users\(user-name)), then you could make the change there to have them applied to all folders as well using the tutorial.
