    Folder Options

    I must be missing something.

When I open windows explorer, it looks like this(right pane): capture 1

I open Folder Options, and slect make all folders look like this, cick OK, and the next one that asks again: Capture 2

then I open a differnt file, and it looks like this!!! Capture 3 - notice the 'track #, contibuting artist' Capture 3.

Folders with pictures open with thumbnails!

I want them all to open and display: type, date modifies and size... and thats all!

    What am I missing here?

    Hello Michael,

You can use the tutorial below to set how you want all folder views to be in all windows.

Folder View - Set a Default for All Folders

    Hope this helps,

    Thank you for the information.

However, I do not have the option to 'customize this folder'.

That's ok. Find another folder that does (Ex: C:\Users\(user-name)), then you could make the change there to have them applied to all folders as well using the tutorial. :)
