Gadget Notes & Win 7

LOL all this time i've been using Win 7 I just realized today that 7 doesn't have a notes gadget like Vista did. In fact there is no "Notes gadget" at all

There is however (for those challenges :)), a "Sticky Notes" in Win 7 under Start, Accessories, "Sticky Notes" but it sits in your Taskbar when running; As opposed to a "Gadget" which doesn't sit in the taskbar.

At any rate I found a place to get Vista's Sticky Notes gadget for Win 7 here - Get the Vista Notes Sidebar Gadget for Windows 7 | Windows | ithinkdifferent

Download and save the zip file, rename it to Notes.gadget, click it, and it will install as a gadget.





NOTE: You must rename the file to get it to install.

Yes, Windows Live Gallery does has some notes gadgets, but it's not Vista's note gadget, which I like :)
