    Welcome

The way I get to gadgets is to type it in search. Give it a try and let us know what happens.

If none of the above help. Type cmd in search
Then do no hit enter right click on the cmd prompt and run as administrator

In cmd type sfc /scannow. This should, hopefully fix the gadgets.

    Try this:

Gadgets - Turn On or Off

Control Panel> Programs and Features> Turn Windows Features On or Off (in sidebar)
    Untick Windows Gadget Platform
    Restart PC

Repeat instructions but Tick Windows Gadget Platform, restart again. Right click desktop, see if Gadgets option has returned.

l found the following worked as l just experienced the issue.

Right click on desktop > View > Untick "Show Desktop Gadgets"

then repeat the above to bring them back, both the Gadgets menu worked again and my missing Gadgets returned without the need to reboot.
