    Aero Customization

Hey guys. So I have a netbook running Win 7 Home Premium is running aero (quite smoothly as well to my suprise) but i know that aero can be quite detrimental on battery life. I was wondering if there was a way to disable all aero features other then taskbar thumbnails, as I use them almost all the time.
    Thanks!

Right click Computer from the desktop and choose Properties>>>Advanced System Settings>>>Advanced>>>Visual Effects and from there, you can choose to disable the visual effects you don't want.

Or since you are using a netbook, you can also go to the Control Panel and adjust power settings. Choose the Large Icons view and go to Power Options and choose the "Power Saver" plan.
