    How to add extra toolbar

I only have this question as i was browsing this forum post and i noticed that some people managed to create a toolbar not connected to the taskbar. I am asking about this as when i used Windows XP I used the quick launch bar in such a way like a osx shortcut bar. It was nice to have as with windows xp IMO it was needed IDK if i will use this as so far pining to the start menu is working well for me but its small. So in all i know how to create a new troolbar but i dont know how to remove it from the taskbar so this is my question. Is it possible to say put a toolbar on the top of my sreen and the taslbar on the bottom? (or the other way arround IDK)

So wither or not i use this I would like to know. Just in case it matters i am using windows 7 home premium.
    TIA

Very simple. Right click on the taskbar > Toolbars > remove the checkmark from the toolbar you want to remove (just click on it). That's all.

    Quick Launch solution...

One way to have a Quick Launch again is covered in my tutorial Recycle Bin - Pin to Taskbar, this allows you to add items to the taskbar and use them as quick launch items. Further down the page with the tutorial I explain in more detail...
