Mail Gadget for POP3 Mail and MS Outlook

Hello people. I'm trying to find this and I can't. I think I found the end of Google in search for this :)
My one computer is running Windows 7. My mail is Verizon Mail, meaning its POP-3, meaning I have my Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 set up with it. Before my upgrade to Win 7, I had Win Vista. And I had a sidebar gadget that monitored my incoming server for new mail. This program would make a sound notification (I supplied the *.wav file for it to use), and it would pop up on my taskbar and/or somewhere on my desktop. The point of that gadget was to inform/notify me of new e-mails. And when that notification went off (visual), I would click on it and it would open my default mail client up. I'm looking for the same sort of a gadget for Windows's 7 sidebar. Does anybody have any recommendations for me? Thank You!!

This is what I had for Windows Vista.

I want the same exact thing but for Windows 7, at least same features and maybe more, but not less.

    Thank You Folks

    Hi,

For a long time I've used the gadget pack from Gersma on DeviantArt:

Chameleon Glass by ~gersma on deviantART

It has a mail gadget wich I think will work with any pop3 account and win7
You can change the notification sound and click on it to open your mail client.

Hi. Thank You for that, but as I understand this is a whole new program just like "Windows Sidebar". I want a SIMPLE gadget for my "already there!" Windows Sidebar. But very thank you!!

Yes, it is a collection of stand alone gadgets. Glass means see through, you can right click and set transparency, as with any gadgets. Watch the vid:

As A Guy says, they are stand alone gadgets, just watch the vid.
You can download the pack at the link I gave you (it's a .RAR file)
You can unrar it (like zip files) with a free program called 7zip,
and just only install the mail gadget in the pack.
