No icons in the right side start menu

Hi, my first post here. It's a pleasure reading this forum and learning from you guys. I've a little problem with icons in the righ side of start menu. As you can see they do not appear when hovering the mouse over "Documents", "Pictures" and so on. This happens when using some custom themes (the one I'm using actually is called "elan"). As far as I know these icons are stored in imageres.dll. So I opened the file with restorator and everything seems right. Funny is that if I copy imageres in a virtual machine the icons appears in the menu! Only difference is the VM does not support Aero style. That's it. Hope you can help me with this. Not a big issue really but I'm curious :)

Hi Arc. I'm using a custom theme atm and is the one in the attached image above. As for Aero default , the user picture appears in the menu. If I switch back to the custom one it disappears again. So it seems this theme disables user picture? Is there a chance to keep the custom theme and the user picture as well?

Yes Arc you're right. I'm using a theme with user picture disabled as I understand now. Here is the link by the same author of Q's Counter Elements webtrance on deviantART . It is the one named "elan".
