ok i shall untake permission then... target: access is denied or specified file path does not exist...

Turns out i cant reinstate Windows ownership of the files

    [Edit]
I have fixed my office icons.. i had to manually remove office and then reinstall it... but what caused the files to go missing..
Some "cleaners" will rip out (erase) things they are not supposed to, and Windoze will let them. That's not to say what you are using is bad, it appears that you are "careful" with your clean-up methods. Let's just say it's a Windoze thang. Or, as I've read elsewhere "The ways of Windows are truly mysterious, Grasshopper".

Ok. Live with it. But (no sarcasm meant or intended here) when you need to re-install you've learnt a lesson.
And, let's be honest, any help you get here, there, anywhere is by other people basically ballsing up their system while trying things out!

Taking ownership of the entire windows folder is not such a big difficulty, pal. Think about the xp era ... there was no trusted installer to own the files you bought with your hard earned money

Just dont mess with it. If change or remove any part of your windows file, do it carefully.

BTW, I leave with the ownership of my files

i think that it was a culmination of messing around with alot of things and checking what windows seven can do... this is the coolest windows around... we must leave this thread open untill someone finds the reason why my installer file are missing... otherwise i think the problem is solved...

Turns out this same problem messed me over with my updates..
