    ANNOYING arrow @ the bottom L of my desktop icons!!!


    Hello:

    I know for a fact this can be done as I have seen a friend of mine do it. - - - - The desktop will display various shortcut icons for the software installed on your PC. In the lower L side of every icon is an "arrow"... Does anyone here know how to do this??? I I was quite ambiguous & unclear as to what I mean. I want the "arrow" GONE

    I used EnhanceMySe7en to remove the arrows from the icons.

    I found getting rid of the arrow with Vista Shortcut Manager was pretty easy it even lets you change what the arrow is to anything you want and the size: Download Vista Shortcut Manager, Vista Shortcut Manager 2.0 Download the only problem is, it doesn't seem to work on individual folders/shortcuts so you have to go to properties to find out if it is a shortcut or not if you decide to delete them!

I have a problem that bugs me and is very frustrating that has happened since I first had Windows 7 the year it was released officially (not release candidate) when clicking the down arrow rapidly in any window, the scrolling will scroll all by itself to the very bottom of the page or window! it...

Can only see half of bottom icons

Hello. Just upgraded to Windows 7 from Windows XP. Got everything set up and turned on. On bottom of desk top screen, are 4 icons -- start, ie, windows explorer, & windows media player. But only half of the icons can be seen -- the other half disappears. Would like to see all of these 4 icons...
Lost the hidden icons arrow

My husband decided to open up my computer and proceeded to vacuum and blow out accumulated dust... I wasn't there to watch him, but something went awry :confused: First I lost quick launch, but I got back .. now I just need to get the programs that launch at startup back behind the arrow that...
Does anyone knows how to get rid of arrow in desktop icons? I did in Windosp XP, then in Vista and now??? Thanks
