Toshiba Card Reader Not Functioning -Can't Find Driver

I just recently changed / did format my OS from Vista to Windows 7. All drivers were working in Vista but When I had WIndows 7, My audio driver and Built in SD card/flash reader is not functioning. I was able to find the realtek driver for windows 7 for the audio problem and it worked fine. Now my SD/flash card reader is still not functioning.

I tried to use automatic search using windows for the driver but I was not able to find it.

I am not that techie so I really don't know what to do.

I have Toshiba Satellite Pro M200 (core duo, 2G RAM, 32Bit)

Please help me make my SC card reader work again. I really thought that Windows 7 is cool unless this problem will be resolved.

    Thanks everyone.

You will probably have to use the Vista drivers in compatibility mode.

Welcome to Seven Forums. You can go to device managerivk on the device>properties>details tab>drop down menu>select hardwareID>Copy and Paste the hardware ID string and we can find a compatible driver. Please let us know 32 or 64 bit windows. Most laptops either use the Ricoh, Texas instruments or conexant card reader
I found this one under TI (texas Instruments} select windows 32 bit then page #3 last on page. Fabe http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/t...ily=1073768663

Card Reader not functioning after upgrade to win7

Hi , I'm new to this forum. And I'm aware that this thread is almost 3 years old.
I just came here through google because of an issue of my laptop.

    I upgraded(clean install) to windows 7 32 bit.
my laptop is Toshiba Satellite L310.
everything is working except the built-in card reader.
It doesnt show any problem under the device manager.
But the moment I insert an SD card (2Gig), it just says card not formatted, please format.
I tried to insert the same SD card in other computers/laptop, it is detected and read.
i tired searching all over the internet and it seems like I tried almost all the drivers that they recommend.

    TI, Rocha etc..nothing works..

    PLEASE HELP!!!

    Thanks
