    b44amd64.sys Dell Vostro help (broadcom lan driver)


    Hi, i am trying to find the cause of my bsods on a dell vostro 1500, this driver has been identified as being needede to be updated b44amd64.sys.

    i have searched the web for a newer version but with no luck, does anyone know of a newer x64 version.

    The driver is for a BROADCOM 440X 10/100 LAN DEVICE.

    Dell Vostro 1500? The Dell Vostro 1500 is a Laptop that only supports 4GB of RAM and was discontinued long before the i3 came out. I this a different computer the whats in you system specs?

    PS yes I do intend to help you, but I want to make sure we're all on the same page here.

    Hi Elis , the latest driver is for Vista 64bit ,no win7 support , here is the link Drivers & Downloads though i suspect you already have it ,did you install the driver in compatibility mode ? Compatibility Mode

    hi, sorry for the confusion, my system specs are for my desktop, this is for a laptop that i was given that had some problems, sorry for the confusion.

    Okay, cool. Follow the link that pebbly provided and there should be an option to put in a 'Service Tag'. There should be a sticker on the computer that has the service tag. Some of the drivers aren't always right. I had to get the drivers for the touchpad drivers for the Vostro 1720 to get my touchpad to work right and the Ricoh SD card reader driver came from HP. If you need those or any other drivers that aren't available on the downloads page let me know, and I'll see what I can do for you.
