    Need drivers for VAIO VGN-CS17G

    Hi,

I had this Sony VAIO CS17G notebook with Vista Home Premium & I installed Windows 7 Ultimate. It has caused issues with my Volume Keys Touch Panel & the Web Cam.

Have downloaded the drivers provided by Sony from their website, but drivers for the above two are not present.

Please assist me with the above mentioned drivers.

    Thanx :)

Looks like you are not the first. See if there is any help here:

Ensure you're installed the VAIO Event Service and the Sony Shared Library. I didn't have that exact model of Sony Laptop but have dealt with Sony Laptops and have noticed this usually triggers these functions keys to work.

Another possibility is if you can roll back to Vista, use something like Driver Magician to extract the Vista Drivers and then use those in Windows 7.

Have you tried the Vista drivers available from the Sony website on Windows 7? In a lot of instances, these drivers will do the job just fine provided you use the appropriate 32 or 64-bit version.
