Display drive problems on Windows 7?

I just install my win7 a few days ago and when i turned on my pc and left it for like 5 mins to load then it froze and i got a pop up saying " display driver stopped responding and has recovered" and i got a black screen and the pop up message kept saying the same thing and getting black screens over and over again and suddenly i got a blue screen after that i went on my pc again and everything worked fine but i don;t want this happening again soo is there some kinda fix? or do i have to update my display drive?

Please help and thanks in advance.

hopefully you should be ok now you are using the Dell driver instead of the generic windows driver. Laptop manufacturers modify the drivers to suit their graphic cards so it is always best to use their drivers
