If you CAN see (despite the crappy quality) i have some "special" functions on my laptop, such as being able to FF/pause/start my internet homepage lowering volume pausing etc, these do not work, they light up as they should when 'activated' (pressing top right corner) but then go dark again. anyone know how to fix this? it's a asus x72vn

Welcome to Seven Forums. I would most likely try re-installing my Touchpad drivers, then take a look at some of the 14 different utility drivers offered.
As I'm not familiar with all the utilities or what their functions are.
I'm sorry I haven't the time right now to research them but their are plenty of very knowledgeable members here that I'm sure we can get it sorted out. Fabe http://support.asus.com/download/dow...Language=en-us
