    ENUWI-G2 Wireless USB Adapter


    Hai! I've installed Windows 7 this morning and I should have known I'd run into a problem with my wireless USB adapter. It is supposed to auto install, so theres no program I can run in compatibility mode. I've played with it a lot, and finally I'm resorting to asking for help. It is made by ENCORE Electronics. I've found the correct driver (for vista) here: Encore Electronics, Inc. but even that will not install properly using the device manager. Is it possible to get this working? Or am I doomed to re-installing xp?

    Try installing your driver 'As Admin' and in Compatibility Mode for Vista SP1.

    I'm afraid there is nothing to run... It just plugs in and auto-installs the driver. No cd, No program. Even the drivers from the site have no program, you just need to install them with the device manager. But, that doesn't work in this case.

    A bit of reasearch suggests that your device uses Realtek chipset (RTL8187B), however sometimes the manufacturers change the chipsets without changing the model number which makes things more difficult to work with...

    You could try the drivers from here:

    Realtek
