    Dell Computer Windows7 Driver HELP!

I just installed Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit on a Dell Dimension 1100 computer. Afterwards I noticed that all or alot of the drivers were missing so I went to look them up on my laptop and download them so I could transfer them to the computer and found out that the Dell 1100 is not compatible with windows 7 and installing it is "not recommended", and there were no windows 7 drivers available for that model. Other than having crappy screen resolution and probably some other problems that I problem haven't noticed yet it seems to work fine. Is there any way around this? Would the drivers for the other OS's work? I'm only mildly proficient at computer stuff so if you can help try to keep it in layman's terms. Also if there is a way around this, which drivers do I need to download? I didn't think you needed to download every available one. Thanks.

Try the vista 32 bit. Download to your desktop, then right click and compatible.

As rich says, the vista drivers will work. Just because Dell says it isn't 7 compatible doesn't mean that it actually isn't. Right click the installer > properties > compatibility > Vista SP2.

Awesome! I'll try that. Now there's alot of options with drivers, which ones do I actually need?

One thing to keep in mind when a company states it supports/doesn't support an OS is that it really means have they tested it and will support you to make it work. If they say it isn't supported it usually means they haven't tested it and you are on your own if you try it.
