How to find latest Realtek drivers for my motherboard.

So I'm thinking I want to perform a fresh clean Windows 7 install sometime tonight.

And I want to download the latest Realtek drivers for both my network adapter and integrated onboard sound.

The catch? I have no clue how to search for these drivers over @ the realtek website.

I would really appreciate any help you guys can give me.

    Thanks.

Are you having problems with the drivers from Asus?

Your best bet is go to ASUS for compatible drivers.

You filled in your specs.:) Excellent!!
ASUS drivers are much more specific to your mother boards set up.
    I'll find you a link.

    http://support.asus.com/

Click on downloads on the right side of the page.
    Then enter your mobo model.
It will show you all your downloads.
Download the latest version listed by date. It will list SATA, USB, everything needed
They also will have the newest Utility software

    IGNORE THE BIOS DOWNLOADS
If things are working well leave the bios alone.

Then go to Gigabyte and get their video driver for your specific graphics card.

    Right Lemur.

Go to the Asus site and look for the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard.

    @ All lol.

Thanks for the very quick replies.

I thought you could download the latest drivers straight from Realtek's website. I guess I was wrong =).

I'll stick with the ASUS drivers then.

    Thanks again.

You probably can get them from Realtek.

I have found that some drivers issued by the original manufacturer don't take into count revisions for a particular after market company such as ASUS.

One fellow on the forum just yesterday downloaded his video driver direct from NVIDIA. It wouldn't work right.
He had to totally remove all traces from his computer of that driver and then download the ASUS version which worked with no problem.
Just a minor change or maybe major difference and it gives you migraines for days!!!
