    Description:

    Spore* game may experience the following issues:


    * Game may blue screen or crash.

    * Graphics driver may unload and cause system to change to VGA resolution.

    * Game may hang for several seconds.

    Intel has released this beta driver to specifically address this issue on the desktop Intel® 946GZ, G965, Q963, and Q965 Express Chipsets and the Mobile Intel® GL960, GLE960, GM965, and GME965 Express Chipsets. This driver is provided as is. Intel does not warranty the operation of this driver. There may be side effects to this solution.

    No I don't think so. Haven't found the link yet for WDDM 1.1

    WDDM 1.1 is already in Windows 7 so you don't need a download (Vista had WDDM 1.0)

    I have no doubt. But I think it would be "included" if that's the right word, into Nvidea Graphics Card Drivers . WDDM 1.1 means it is Windows 7 ready.

    the thing is if i remember correctly Win7 only shows "prerelease wddm 1.1"

    (only graphics companies' donwloads on show "engineering sample ect....)

    norm you lost me...
    on the Nvidia part....
    arent we talking about intel boards???

    Yes, but as Windows Display Driver Model (WDDM, also WVDDM) is the graphic driver architecture for video card drivers running Microsoft Windows, the logical place for drivers that use that architecture is in Video card drivers, thats why I said "included" in inverted commas. The driver won't be there but the necessaries to enable that driver will.

    actually this is an older driver....
    this is telling me that i have a newer driver for my desktop....

    Hey DA, I am an Older person, what's wrong with Older? LOL.

    You could be right, the post dater was 27th December I think, but being the silly season he was probably doing what I was, trolling for something, anything, to post!
