Nice post. I have mine OC'd to SSC speeds, without overvolting, and I think I am only getting 7.5-7.6.

If i push the cards too hard I start getting artifacting....

Plus, both of my cards are of the 65nm variety....

To be honest and no offence, you shouldn't be getting anywhere near a 7.9 graphics score with a GTS250 and a Q6600 at 3.2GHz. Maybe you are running SLI?

    I only get a 7.7 with my 480gtx and a Q9650 at 4.05GHz.

The reason that score is so high is because of your low resolution. I think the newer drivers assume that everyone is running at least 1680x1250. The new monitor will probably fix the problem but will lower your frame rates and your WEI a bit.
I stand corrected,my score was 7.0 ,now its 6.9 with the 260.99 drivers.i just used the highest setting dunno why
But more to the point why are these drivers causing such issues..we are all not blessed with running a 480 gtx or sli rigs !

A lowly GT220 here and my WEI didn't change after going to the 260.99 drivers. Haven't noticed any problems with games yet, although I've only played Medal of Honor Airborne since upgrading drivers.

I am reverting to 258.69 (or whatever the number was). I have a pair of GTX260s that I augmented with a GTS250 to dedicate to PhysX use. This setup works perfectly fine with the 258 drivers, but look at what happens under 260.99:

    Attachment 109026

Not kewl. Not kewl at all. If I friggin wanted to use the second 260 as my PhysX card I'd never have bought the 250 in the first place!
John, the pic you posted looks good to me, the 260's are in SLI as indicated by the green bar and the light blue area shows the 250 as PhysX.

The 260.99 drivers are working good on my system. I like the new installer package for the 260 drivers.

Rerun the WEI assessment after rebooting, you will get the 0.1 back.
