Windows 7: printer drivers for win7 64bit

printer drivers for win7 64bit

we are deploying win7 and our win 2k3 server is 32bit and has about 40 shared printers and the drivers are in 32bit.
all printers are different model's

is there a way to have these printers work on win7 64bit?

There is no way to really answer this without knowing what the printers are.

The best I could suggest is that you go to the manufacturer's website and see what support they have for the printers under Windows 7 64-bit.

I would also suggest you do this for anything else you may deem critical to your workplace.

The age of the printer will also play a huge factor in whether they are supported in W7 64bt or not.

FWIW, when I was first playing with W7, I was able to get most HP drivers made for Vista 64bit to work in W7 64bit, until HP started releasing more and more 64bit drivers for W7.

printer sharing win7 home 64bit to winxp pro laptop
I cannot get my desktop which is running win 7 home 64bit to connect to my laptop which is running win xp pro sp3. i set the workgroup to home on both machines and still nothing. My laptop will not see the desktop over the network. Any ideas on what i should do?
