    Disabling IPv6 has no effect.
Setting Static IP also doesnot work.

If the device isn't recognised it can be driver problems. With driver problems I mean installing everything that "might" help but not deleting those. Delete everything that you installed before, reboot the laptop and then install the drivers from the Syntek website. I guarantee they work. If they don't work, check your own laptop or windows installation, there should be a different problem

    Thi is good idea.
But as I find working driver I have Windows reinstalled.

So there is no odd drivers for WiFi.

I afraid the problem is in the driver or even in card itselv, so I will be forced to buy new.

I can't find any solution yet.

Have noticed it works with WPA with WEP disabled. When both are on it returns an error...

    Hi there

Marco wrote this earlier: p.s.: i have download the file at Syntek Semiconductor Ltd
The website has drivers for both USB and Mini PCI-E version, for all Windows (except 95... haha, lol)
    http://www.stk.com.tw/driver/Wireles...ows7_32bit.exe
    http://www.stk.com.tw/driver/Wireles...ows7_64bit.exe
Yes it says Syntek, but read the website and discover that Syntek copied 3DSP their work.
Just check more chip ID numbers and find a number like STK9100 (Syntek chip), from there I found out that Syntek is 3DSP. I will add a screenshot of what the install says for extra credability...
I am replacing mine with a more advanced one so I can also replace an old one in my friend's laptop. His recovery image doesn't work well anymore (Vista, go figure(anyhow W7 is 5x faster than Vista)) and Windows 7 doesn't have drivers for his old PCI-E mini card.

So thank you Marco, I wouldnt have bought it if the drivers weren't there for Windows 7 also.
Thanks a lot for this sharing, this is i'm look for a year ago.
so now i can use windows 7 with this driver.
