Hp dv6 usb device and base system driver unknown

amd turion X2 processor

windows 7 ultimate 64bit os.

for 3days i get error messages telling that my base system drivers,std enhanced pci to host usb host controllers n my usb hubs are unknown devices..
cos of it none of my usb ports are working.
also my laptop has become very slow n gets stuck..are these two related?

Hi halicarnasus, welcome to the forums, the base system drivers reffered to normally relate to card reader drivers either Jmicron or Realtek Software & Driver Downloads HP Pavilion dv6-2103sa Entertainment Notebook PC - HP technical support (United Kingdom - English) download the drivers from the link and also update the chipset driver from the same link

Hi halicarnasus, download the files you need from another PC onto a pendrive and install them on your laptop, then we will take it from there, Also could we please have a little less of the "text speech" you will get alot more help that way
