    All in one driver software

    Hi

I'm wondering if there are any free/ paying programs out there that download out of date drivers/ drivers that need to be installed at a click of a button. You just press 'Scan'.

I have just tried DriverHive by bootstrap, but you can scan for errors, but you have to pay for them to fix it. Its already noticed that i have a out of date graphics card driver on my XP laptop.

    Thanks
    Dan

i use driver genius ($29.99), but if you know what all the components of your system are, you can hunt down all the drivers yourself.
some of those driver update utilities are misleading. they tell you that "18 drivers are out of date", but in reality, all those drivers are contained in one driver package (such as chipset driver).

I would not use any of those. You will be busy all day. Any time some rinky dink driver has updated some language pack, you will be solicited - unless you really care when there is an update for e.g. Farsi. If it ain't broken, don't fix it.
