The problem you are going to run into with that older board is the chipset drivers available at any place other then the chipset manufacturer for Vista which will work on 7 as well. I ran into that here at first with the betas until allowing the Windows updates along with a trip to the NVidia download site to solve that.

I have some good news on that however to share with you here. The Abit download page shows Vista 64 drivers as well as those for the 64bit XP available at Universal abit > Motherboard, Digital Speakers, iDome, AirPace, Multimedia 478

Just finished a FRESH INSTALL OF WINDOWS 7 7100 Peep the PSR.EXE steps movie. www.otleague.net/9.6_32_bit_hotfix.zip (MANUEL INSTALL!!!!!!) Than i installed the CCC from 9-6_agp-hotfix_vista32_dd_ccc folder. AND it looks like I am up-to-date with the drivers and catalyst!. Its weird though, because when I was on WIN XP PRO SP3 I had more options in my CCC. All i need now is to know if the others have the 720p AND 1080p SUPPORT PAGE IN THE MONITOR PROPERTIES!. I remember having that option and something with the 3d page too.

I have an AMAZE ATI 3650 AGP DDR 2. I have tried installing every driver set I can find and they all say they have installed fine but the device manager still says no drivers are there for the card. ? I can pull up catalyst and set all the 3D settings but Windows 7 cannot find the drivers. Anyone have any idea whats going on with my PC ?

    Welcome to the Se7enforums! mgodfrey

Also welcome to the continuing AGP nightmare since more and more will continue to see problems with Windows properly detecting the old form of video card there with the newer PCIe geared driver sets.

The drivers go on while you may simply have to reseat the card to make sure that it is down fully in the slot. If you have an onboard graphics chip at all make sure that is turned off in the bios and disabled in the device manager as well since that will conflict with any separate card installed.

The PCI/AGP setting should be at AGP as well while you are in the integrated peripherals or onboard section of the bios setup as well depending on which bios is being used. Hopefully the card you have there is not suffering any defects.
