Trouble installing ATI display driver  

I recently had trouble with the new 10.11 ATI drivers causing my to BSOD with an atikmdag.sys error every time I tried to watch a video in my web browser. It would do that or cause the display driver to stop responding and then start the video with a completely green video but sound. I decided to uninstall and go back to 10.10, so I uninstalled using the ATI installer, then preceeded to go into safemode and use driver sweeper to remove any leftovers. When I tried to install, everything in the package installed except my ATI display driver. I tried this over and over, including the 10.11 ones, and still kept failing. I eventually went back to the CD that I was given when I purchased my card, which was 10.3. It worked for awhile but eventually it started to BSOD. I would like to just hop back up yo 10.10 again so I can play several games without the performance hit that 10.3 has, but I can't figure out how to get it to install. I might also add, at one point, I received a "MOM.Implementation does not exist error," but it went away after I reinstalled the 10.3 drivers for the umpteenth time.

My system looks like this:

Asus P5Q-E Motherboard
Intel E8500 @ 3.16Ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
ATI HD 5850
Dual Monitor setup as well

I am 100% sure its a display driver problem considering when I uninstall the drivers, I can do everything perfectly fine. I'm thinking that when I did a driver sweep, it deleted more than it should have and damage my windows 7 compatibility with my display drivers. A reformat is not an option at this point as I left my windows 7 CD at home, and I won't be able to get it back till finals are over this week. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has been EXTREMELY frustrating for the past few weeks. I've done everything I could possibly think of to no avail. If there is anything that I could give you all that would help solve the problem, just let me know and I'll try and get it up there as soon as I can. Thanks for anything guys and girls!

Thanks for the help! I ended up downloading the newly released 10.12 suite from AMD and it installed the most up to date version. Unfortunately, I still have the BSOD when playing any web-based video. The release note said that browser based videos being displayed in a green screen is a known issue, but only sometimes does my browser video turn green...most the time it just blue screens with an ATIMKDAG.sys error.

I had tried the ATI removal tool as well and still had problems reinstalling the drivers afterwards. I head back home after finals at the end of the week, so I plan on just doing a reformat when I get my windows CDs back around then, which should hopefully put an end to the problem. I'll update this thread when I reformat to see if it fixed the problem. If it didn't then I'd relate it to a hardware specific problem. Watch youtube videos just takes away from my ability to get prepared for these finals anyways, so its probably for the best! Thanks for all the help!

The problem here is Driver sweeper, it destroys the OS if you use the version above 2.6 and you will get constant warnings during installation of ATI drivers. In the 2.8 version it will still give the warnings during installation message but there will be no warnings in the log and everything may seem fine but don't be fooled you will soon lose your OS altogether and startup repair will not be able to fix it. Luckily I use the system image backup every week but experienced this problem when I removed Driver Sweeper 2.1 and installed 2.8 then used it to remove the 10.11 driver. If you have no back up you will have to do a re install, there as been many victims of this because like me people have used Driver Sweeper hundreds of times without problems but that is no longer so and its wise to avoid it with Windows 7. Of course Driver Sweeper allows you to restore removed items if you backed them up in the first place
