Hi all I wanted to share some results of the new ccc driver
I installed this a moment ago and it dramaticly dropped my GPU temps by almost 20 degrees

I have to say im liking this if it makes my card run a little more cooler and effective and now i can go back to 1920/1080 on the flat again vs only getting 1680/1050 all the time with no room for adjustments

once again dual screening with correct resolution
Btw, is that desktop yours?? I don't think so.

    Nice!

Just upgraded from a HD 5770 to a GTX 460, I'm still going to try the 10.12's with my onboard HD 4250.

the onboard is something you should leave alone if you have a installed a gtx460 installing the ati drivers for the intergrated graphics might conflict you I might be wrong depending if your particular chipset ask for the update if not i would leave it alone you will for sure BSOD your unit

It's mine built by me blood sweat and tears alot of money Question why would i talk or be in this forum if i didn't run and own a system to be here in the first place not to down you at all but that was kinda a stupid thing to ask
I didn't mean that the desktop is not yours.. I just ask'd because i was kinda shocked to see Adobe Reader 9 on your desktop when v10 is already out even on knowing how much vulnerable it is and liked by cyber-crooks..

That icon mystery your talking about may happen if you installed v10 on top of previous version..
And i have had the same mentality that i don't do online banking, transactions or any such thing, so i don't need to worry about cyber criminals, but tighten my security a bit as i don't wanna my pc to be a part of botnet, which in turn creates problem for other users.
Ps: Don't take it upon yourself. I'm just talking about the widespread mentality.
Edit: Oh so you fixed that icon thing. Very well.

Do not forget about Driver Sweeper before installing a new Catalyst version. Mind that this preview release is not WHQL, and in the process of installation you have to click "Install this driver anyway". For best installation results temporarily disable your AV and Firewall.

Indeed. I had to disable my firewall to install it.

If you haven't already - wait for the hotfixes.

Stock 10.12's are pretty bad drivers overall for many different users.

For 5xxx users - Stick with 10.10e as the 'officals' break MLAA for that series of cards. Plus they are still newer '3D' drivers than these things.

This is not a magic repeat of the 9.12 awesomeness from a year ago. This is an antithesis release by comparison.

In other words - they suck.
