so all things ticked are fine to be removed including registry entries? (Sorry just to make sure... I don't have time to reinstall the OS atm because of my uni work)

Yes you are OK to do that Zurrieq ,Its safe as long as you only remove the nvidia components including registry entries ,that will remove all traces of the installed nvidia drivers including conflicts ,that will leave yourself clear to do a fresh install of your new driver :)

kk thnx alot. Ill do as soon as i finish this assignment. Then i'll install the palit driver and see if the system is unstable.

I have run driver sweeper and since it removed some registry files for the current microsoft driver it did not work until i reinstalled it. (Now it works ofc). When i ran the sweeper again the list looks as follows....


Hell i had loads of junk... hope that was causing the conflict and i can finally live in peace haha. (Will be re-running the sweeper and installing the palit driver later on this evening and tomorrow will be the testing day.)
