QuickCam Pro 9000
I have a problem. Logitech QC Pro 9000 Web Cam installation and drivers, is incompatible.
What can I do to make the software work?

Try installing with compatibility mode or use device manager and select the driver update option and tell it to search the disc you have for drivers.
"or use device manager and select the driver update option"
Mr Grim you joggled my mind, and yes , that was it.
Thank You,
Iknewit
I went to Device Manager, properties, update drivers.
Drivers and software downloaded. ?
Works perfectly. ... thanks
I am using Windows 7 x64 build 7000. I have my Logitech Pro 9000 working fine apart from all the Quickcam controls Rightlight and zoom. How do I fix it?
Same issue. I cannot run the quickcam pro software at all to actually make any changes to my camera.
When I did an "Upgrade" from Vista 64-bit to Windows 7 64-bit it worked fine, but after doing a fresh install I cannot figure out a way to get the Quickcam software to install properly.
I had the same problem with Win7 64bit, I have no issue with 32bit.
Are you guys installing the CD that came with the webcam or letting Win7 download the driver and software for you?
I let Win7 DL for me, and also running 32bit, and all functions work.
Letting Windows download and install it.
There were even updates available that installed with no problem. The actual quickcam software though never installed. Manual install of it does not work either.
The camera works, since the driers install, but nothing can be controlled at all. Can not change any settings or anything. A bit frustrating, since a lot of the default settings limit the frame rate of the camera when using it and capturing it.
Oh noo, are you running 64?
_______________ to save time
I had a few issues with 64 bit Win7 7000 with my QuickCam software.
I running 32bit 7000, and works fine. The only thing I can say I might have done differently, is that I had it plugged IN when I installed the OS.
Hopes this Helps
I Knew It!
