    Drivers

I had a driver problem. My I.E. Explorer 8 kept freezing and had to restart. I called on my "Help Program" and later HP.When all the powers to be i.e Microsoft and Hp determined my NVIDIA GE Force 9100 was causing this problem and was told to upgrade my driver, low and behold Device Manager told me it was the latest driver. Went on HP support got nowhere, out of desperation I bought into one of those Driver Update deals. The one I picked was Driver Fetch. It scanned all my drivers and updated them, so far so good. Has anyone tried any of these Driver Update programs. I hope I did the right thing, I usually don't fall for the easy come ons, but thought I would give it a try. I know this is overlong, anyone tried these things successfully or am I a dork. Time will tell.

In the future, come to us and we will help you update. Somtimes an update is not needed. If there is a conflict you could go back to the previous version and its done right in device manager.

    How to Find Drivers
search Google for the name of the driver
    - compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
    - visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
    - if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone - will help you search Google for the name of the driver
