A list of all 3rd party drivers installed on your Win 7 system

    Good People,
Ever want a list of or need to now which/what 3rd party drivers are installed?

Go to an elevated command prompt and type:
    dism /online /get-drivers

    and hit enter.

If you don't have dism on you computer, then it is part of the Windows Automated Installation Kit (WAIK).

Nice. Are some Microsoft drivers considered 3rd party? See below.

Do you know what the Inbox item indicates?

    Nice! Thanks for this.

Fortunatley I know what all of m ine listed were, and were all OK.

With the exception of a few MS ones I have no clue what they are for.

DISM.exe is on every single Windows 7 DVD right in the Sources folder. So you do not have to download the large WAIK just for DISM. The 32bit disk has the 32bit version, the 64bit disk has the 64bit version.

    LogicEarth,
Thanks. I've always had the WAIK installed so wasn't sure whether it was there and if yes, whether this capability was there.

At one time the version supplied with Win 7 was not the latest and the WAIK advised using the version in the WAIK, but that could have been back in the pre-RTM times.
