Tried the ACHI tutorial but couldn't see anything on set up (F2 on boot up) that needed changing and it still fails to install PCI Memory Controller
Everything else seems to work so its just annoying that it searches for drivers everytime I turn it on. Can I turn it off, what would I lose? Or maybe I lose nothing as it can't find the drivers anyway??
If it does not work, you'll only lost the ability of "Ready Boost" on that Mini Pci-E slot...you should still have the ready boost on the SD Card slot...
You can turn it off the time to find a solution. Might be a defect card on the mini-Pci-E slot.
You should be able to lift the keyboard of the laptop gently to have a look if it well inserted inside the mini Pci-E slot...
The both drivers 8.9.0.1023 you downloaded previously are the right one again...
