    Hitachi HDT72101 Drivers

    Hey everyone.
I'm trying to install Windows 7 Pro but it can't see my 2 Hard Drives.
    Hitachi HDT72101 (SATA)

I looked online and can't find any drivers for these. But Windows XP sees them just fine.
    Any help is appreciated.

    Welcome kwrite09

win7 finds 98% of needed drivers (especially HD's) if you boot the install from the DVD & choose to be connected to the internet during the install. How do you have the Bios setup configured? AHCI, SATA, or IDE for your HD's ? Is this a retail, Upgrade, or OEM install win7 ?

Odd. I retried again. I think you are right about being online. Windows 7 found my drives this time and I'm installing now. Thanks DocBrown.
    Much appreciated.

More problems. I installed to the hard my blank hard disk and now I can't view my second hard disk with my files on it. It's not showing up in explorer, but disk management says it's there and fine.

I figured it out. Turns out windows didn't assign a drive letter to it. So I clicked Change Drive Letters and Path under Disk management and it worked. Thanks again DocBrown and thanks for welcoming me earlier.
