    Looking for Driver downloads


    I'm trying to find driver downloads for:
    Scanner, Canon LiDE30
    and
    Printer HP Laserjet P1005


    I've done a search on this forum and on the MS downloads site and either I'm too dumb to know what to input or the softwear doesn't exist. I'd appreciate some help on this.

    Hello there, welcome to the forums

    Windows 7 has its own drivers for the HP Laserjet P1005, you just have to go to "Printers and Devices" after connecting the HP, right click it, and click on "Solve Issues" another screen will pop up, click next, and it'll try to figure out what's happening to the hardware, a little bit later it'll tell you that you don't have the driver for it, it'll connect to the internet and it'll download the driver to install it as soon as possible. It has worked for me with HP products and Windows 7.

    Try that and report back, please :)

    EDIT: i just looked in Canon's website and they have Windows Vista 32-bit Drivers, use them in compatibility mode, here:

    CanoScan Toolbox
    ScanGear CS

    Those are the 2 files you need to download ans install in order to have the Scanner working

    Again, report back after finishing :)

Hi Folks, When I download using FF, this appears then closes when all downloads are completed. 223167 This is nearly how I want it to work. In recent versions, I was able to have the items downloaded cleared automatically, now it has to be done manually. Any ideas on how to do it ?
The problem accured when I wanted to download some cool backgrounds from interfacelift, i would click the backgorund-->save image as... and choose desktop, it would only download 34kb of like 1mb of image (1080p-1920x1080) and is unable to view it in imageviewer too.... anybody know what would...
I have been using a _NEC 3450 for a while in windows xp and now i upgraded to windows 7 and this happens I cannot find anything on this dvd drive and its kinda urgent as I cant install any games or anything. :( http://ttgdime.com/dimegrab/images/f8a552.png

I'm trying to download a program which says "It's a free download" however when I try and save it, it only gives me about 2%. Adobe Reader X and just about any so called free download. You have to be connected to the Internet otherwise you can't get it and this is on most so called free download...
