Well, I built my rig *specifically* to use 64bit builds, so I have been SOL since May anyway - I don't really miss it much anymore....
Gives me an excuse to buy the new Logitech G19 KB when it comes out![]()

Well I see Microsoft have looked after us people who buy microsoft add on products because we think somehow they will be better products and better supported. I remember the initial trouble with Vista, and now they say this:
The following products are no longer manufactured by Microsoft but may still be sold through our partners. The following products are not supported and no new software is available.
Fingerprint Reader
No beta software is available. Fingerprint Reader is not supported on Windows 7.
- See the notes column for this product.
Same old story from Microsoft, they say all hardware that works in Vista will work in Windows 7 and that Win 7 drivers are the same as Vista. Should I laugh now or cry later?
guys, you're preaching to the choir. If you'd like I can show you three different discussions on the Microsoft forums where *hundreds* of people clamored, to no avail.
Well I've been having the same problem and found this from Microsofts site.
No beta software is available. Fingerprint Reader products are not supported on Windows 7 Beta.
Check it out here.
