**UPDATE**
New webcam Lifecam VX 5000 arrived and installed (Drivers 2.91) with no problems at all on Windows 7 7260

so that tells me that it is only vx 1000, vx 3000 & vx 6000 having problems with drivers

glad your new cam is working fine mate. i have a vx3000 and the drivers seem to install fine but anytime i tried to access the cam it cause BSOD.

you would think these would be among some of the 1st products that would have working drivers considering they are microsoft lol.

i went back to my creative live cam.

My Thoughts exactly, but then again its "Microsoft" should work fine by the time they release driver version 6.0
