VX-1000 Lifecam problem

    VX-1000 Lifecam problem


    The MS beta software Lifecam 2.91 worked great for me until I installed build 7260 all I get now is "driver blocked cos of compatibility"
    anyone know of a work around for this please ?

    also have a vx1000, and adding the driver, which works fine with the vx1000, only update through the Device Manager.

    I must be thick cos i can not this this to work !

    Only thing I can come up with is this Edit is for 64 bit version and I need the one for 32 bit

    ok I have tried to install these different ways but I can not get them to work, please can you tell me how you did it

    install the Device Manager, by .inf.

    I have tried that a few times and it will not work for me, when I do thro device manager I get this message coming up
    "windows found driver software for your device but encounted an error while attempting to install it"
    "microsoft lifecam VX-1000"
    "The system cannot find the file specified"

    I get this every time I try updating thro device manager with the .inf file from the VX 1000 folder you did for it.

    I have the same problem in 7264 x64 with my lifecam vx-6000. Any ideas?

    Hi, I've given up trying now. Using my old Logitech quickcam which has no problems

    Will have some fun soon tho cos i just bought a Lifecam VX5000, will post outcome of that when it arrives

    I would bet you are going to have the same problem with the vx5000 until Microsoft releases a new version of the lifecam software.
