    Windows 32-bit or 64-bit ?

We are currently evaluating Windows 7 RC 7100 32-bit.

We have approximately 100 core2 Duo laptops and are now upgrading them all to 2-3 GB, while they are still running WinXP.

I am a bit concerned about drivers.

Once Windows 7 is released, should we be installing the 32-bit or the 64-bit version ?

Are they all the same model? If so try installing x64 on one and testing to see if you can find all the x64 drivers for it, if they are within 2-3 years old there should be x64 drivers for all of there hardware.

Thanks for that. They are about 2-3 years-old or less.

so 64-bit is the way to go then ?

Well, are they all different models? Same models?

Also yes if they are within 2-3 years old then you should go with x64 especially if its an x64 processor.
