    Hi and welcome to SF
Scsi problems are usually either a driver or a cable conflict. have you downloaded all the drivers for your computer?

the sony and mator are in the same place as on old OS and they worked there right?

Is there any errors showing in event viewer (type event viewer in search) related to this problem?

In device manager (type device manager in search) if you go to your disk drives is there a yellow sign and says unknown?

If you unplug reader does the drives work?
