    Catalyst 9.8 Drivers x32/x64 - Leaked

May I present to you (an otherwise, most excellent find, if you ignore the nay-sayer below) the Catalyst WHQL ATI 9.8 drivers in both x32 and x64 flavors. These feature great support for newer (and older games) and a much-needed interface improvement for the Catalyst Control Center. Enjoy.

    Downloads:

    Vista/Win7 Catalyst 9.8 x32

    Vista/Win7 Catalyst 9.8 x64

    WinXP Catalyst 9.8 x32

These are not leaked, and they are not exclusive. And this post is late.

But thank you for an almost excellent find.

At any rate, they appear to be quite a good driver release.

P.S The new interface was released with Cat 9.7

Going to wait a week to let them work out the kinks in the drivers =)

How did you guys install the new GPU drivers, just execute the EXE and let it do its job? I remember in the past there's always the uninstall the old drivers and the software fully, reboot, then reinstall the new drivers.

You have to wait at least until a new Cat release for any kinks to be seriously worked out - even then it might take a few releases

Everybody's experience varies with installing Cat drivers. Sometimes it's as straight forward as installing straight over the top without uninstalling the previous drivers first.

If that doesn't work, then uninstalling/cleaning before installation is the next best method.

This release installed straight over the top for me. With other releases I've had to brute force the entire process.
