    please perform the ping test I suggested in my above post. It should give us an idea of exactly where the problem lies.

    type "ipconfig /all" (no quotes) and press enter.
    Find your network card, and make a note of the IP address under "Default Gateway" to obtain your Router's IP address (if you don't already know it)
    type "ping <router's IP address>" (no quotes or <>'s)
    post back the results.
    im at college atm so i cant really do this and i know routers ip but ill check when i get home in 2hours
