this is a problem with bluesoleil and I am not sure why you would need to install it ?

I have windows 7 64 bit on my laptop and control my mouse and headset using the windows devices and printers control panel ?

Is it likely the bluesoleil installation has disabled the windows service in order to control your bluetooth devices but is now failing to work ?

maybe its time to unninstall bluesoleil and then perform a repair install using your windows disc initiated from within windows ?

Hi. Realize this is an old post but there is no solution outcome posted. Did Badjz solve his problem with repair disk? I have same problem (uninstalled Bluesoleil because of problems with it and bluetooth support service now disabled and can't enable it). Tried recommended file scan and system repair disk, but problem still persists. Do notice that bthserv.dll is missing from C:\Windows\System32, but not sure if I should try reinstalling it back there in case it causes addtl problems. When I try to enable bluetooth support service to manual or auto or anything, I get "the system cannot find the path specified". Don't want to try reinstalling Bluesoleil as it took me a while to get rid of uninstall left-overs. I'm running Gateway NV53A windows 7 x64 Home Premium Edition. Any guidance / assistance will be appreciated. Thanks.

Bluetooth Support Service (bthserv) disabled and won't start

Hi again. Well, I found a solution to my problem at Black Viper website. Just download registry patch for your respective OS and follow instructions to install. Worked great for me and everything working again. Here is a link to the web page:
Windows 7 Service Pack 1 Services Registry Files and Information.

Give it a try and Good Luck.
