you have vista listed as your O/S so can i ask is your Win 7 install an upgrade or a clean install as such ?

the Bluetooth Support Service is going to be looking for an executable i believe so do you have any installation files for the device ?

No the Win 7 is a clean install.

I was using BlueSoleil with a USB Bluetooth stick, as of yesterday it has topped picking up the stick....

I went into services and the Bluetooth support service was disabled, and subsequently the file is missing...

Yes, i have also tried installing the widcomm drivers. I cant access my bluetooth settings in control panel. When i click on it, nothing happens.

The bluetooth support service is missing from my services (bthserv.dll). This is the issue, I need to reinstall this service... Is that possible. I dont know how it has been deleted but the service is just not there anymore. Is there something I can download to reinstall all my default services for Win 7 SP1 64 bit?

Or can i download this registry value and import it in to my regisrty, therefore allowing it to show up in my services again?

Thanks icy, I have however ran scannow prior to posting here. There was a couple of errors which it repaired, but 'bluetooth support service' is still not in my services (bthserv.dll).

Bluetooth will not run without this service.

Can I not download this service/reg file and install it?

If so does anyone have a link?
