I would go to the HP support and drivers web page and see if you have any 7 drivers for you Model and if not get the drivers off the video cards web site for them, the sound you could see if the Vista 64 bit drivers will work and i forget what the co processer is i had that problem with my dv9720us but forget what drivers i used to fix that one.

The base system in your card reader. Here is a link and the first 3 match each dev number with a link to the driver. However I don't know if these drivers are correct. You will probably need the Vista 64bit if Win 7 64bit are not available.

    PCI Vendor and Device Lists

I tracked it down at HP and it is for Win 7 64bit.

The APCI/HPQ0007 is the Quick Launch Buttons. Try this link.

You could also use that link at HP and search by you model number to be sure.

For any device that shows a problem in Device Manager get the Hardware ID and use this site to get more information.

    PCI Vendor and Device Lists

Put in the 4 dig Ven# and the 4dig Dev # and hit the Search button next to the Dev #.

It will then list the Vendor Name and product and click on it and then look for the Dev# in the list.

So, everything is working except sound? What does the Device Manager show? Anything with an error? If the sound unit is not showing up in Device Manager then it may be disabled, possible in the BIOS.
